
Sean Lyons was born and raised on the beaches of Southern California and received a BA in Theatre Arts from Pepperdine University. Film and TV credits include
Friday Night Lights, an Axe Body Spray web short, several music videos and student films, and a national Sports Authority commercial. Sean helped found “This Bridge Theatre Co.” with whom he performed last summer as Juliet in Joe Calarco’s Shakespeare’s
R and J in Germany at the Mainzer Kammerspiele and the Neuss International Shakespeare Festival. He has also performed for three summers in Scotland at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. With the Denver Center Theatre Company, he appeared in
The Voysey Inheritance,
A Christmas Carol,
Eventide, and
A Prayer for Owen Meany. Most recently, Sean finished playing Cleante in
Tartuffe and Hamlet/Ghost/Player Queen in
Hamlet in repertory at the National Theatre Conservatory. Other favorite roles while at the NTC include Radu in
Mad Forest, Macheath in
Threepenny Opera, and, his most favorite to date, Berger in
HAIR.
