Shauna MilesShauna is incredibly proud to have completed her MFA training at the National Theatre Conservatory and thrilled to be returning home to New York. She last appeared with the Denver Center Theatre Company as Actor B in Well; prior to that, she understudied the roles of Ruth and Beneatha in the Denver Center’s production of A Raisin in the Sun. Roles at the National Theatre Conservatory include, Gertrude in Hamlet, Elmire in Tartuffe, Mrs. Peachum in The Threepenny Opera, and Lucretia Collins in 5 x TENN.
Shauna was also fortunate enough to spend the summer of 2008 working with the Chautauqua Theater Company, where she appeared as Trish in Reckless with Vivienne Benesch and Quince in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Prior to the NTC, she appeared Off Broadway as Tammy in The Play Company’s production of No.11 (Blue & White). Other NY credits include Evelyn in The Planet on 158th Street at New York Stage and Film (staged reading) and Bearjest in The Lucky Chance with The Queen’s Company. Film and TV credits include The Education of Max Bickford with Richard Dreyfuss and As the World Turns. Shauna received her BFA from Boston University’s School for the Arts. She was the Region I winner of the KC/ACTF Irene Ryan Award; subsequently she competed nationally at the Kennedy Center and won the Williamstown Theatre Festival’s Bill Everett Scholarship.
