The National Theatre Conservatory was founded in 1984 as a three-year Master of Fine Arts program. While a vital part of the Denver Center Theatre Company, the Center announced that it will phase out the program by 2012.

- Full three-year tuition scholarship
- Weekly living stipend
- Theatre apprenticeship with the Denver Center Theatre Company
- Feature performances in annual repertory productions
- Intense study in a wide array of acting disciplines
- Equity contract upon completion of the program
- An audition showcase for agents and directors in New York City
